CANTEEN MANAGER

We are currently seeking to employ a Canteen Manager to join the Austin Cove Baptist College Secondary School community. The position will be part time (15.2hrs a week) and commence on 1 February 2021.

Successful candidates will have a solid work ethic, friendly nature and be conscientious, committed Christians.

The College

Austin Cove Baptist College of South Yunderup is a co-educational College that commenced in 2011 and currently has approximately 650 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The College is situated in the Austin Lakes development just east of Mandurah and provides a high standard of education within a Christian context. Selection Criteria

Highly desired Qualities

Experience in canteen/hospitality environment.
The ability to menu plan to produce healthy, nutritious and economically priced food.
The ability to work in team environment with the capacity to organise and train volunteers.
Time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
Good report with students.
Good communication skills.
Ability to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene and Occupational Safety and Health requirements.

Essential

To have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ including regular church attendance and a lifestyle consistent with the expectations of Christian faith
The successful applicant would need to have or obtain a Working with Children Check Card (WWCC) and Police Clearance prior to commencing this position.
