This learning area includes 90 minutes per week of Physical Education in Years 7 to 12. In these lessons, students learn the basic principles, skills and rules of a range of sports. Physical Education is aimed at allowing students to experience a wide range of physical activities and the pursuit of recreational and competitive sports.
- Health is taught in Years 7 to 10 and teaches students to make informed choices about a healthy lifestyle. Topics covered include healthy lifestyles, healthy eating, fitness, emotional and physical well-being and relationships.
- In Year 9 and 10, students can also choose various electives within this learning area both on land and in the water, which lead to further study of these courses in Senior School.
- In Year 11 and 12, students can choose from a range of ATAR and General courses within Health, Outdoor & Physical Education.
