Academic Philosophy

Work Hard: In school, smart kids do not always finish first.  It often comes down to commitment and hard work.  So we encourage students to remember to work hard.

Infuse Urgency: Most students only work hard a few days before a piece of work is due because that is when it becomes urgent.  We teach our students to break work up into smaller pieces, infuse urgency into the small tasks and get the work done on time.

Never Give Up: Courage is not the absence of trials, it is the conquest of them.  Winners are those who push through when times are tough, when everyone else is giving up.  That is when success is the sweetest, so we encourage our students to never give up.

Fathers Day

Week 7 was a special week at Kindy.  We invited our Dad’s, Grandad’s, Pop’s and Poppa’s to Kindy to celebrate Fathers day together.  We all had lots of fun, especially constructing special aeroplanes and taking them on to the oval for a race.  Many thanks go to all our wonderful Fathers for making the afternoon so special.

Primary Inter-House Athletics

The recent Inter-house Athletic Carnival was a wonderful day. Congratulations to the students, parents and teachers for making it such a special day of fun and competition. It was the first time we had our Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year One & Two students join the older years. A particular thank you to Miss Shellie King and Mr Gareth Rankin for organising the program and ensuring the day ran so smoothly. See Results HERE

Primary students recently planted 200 tree seedlings at the High School Campus.

The seedlings were supplied by Men of the Trees in Rockingham, and a team from Bunnings Halls Head helped to plant 12 established trees. A big thanks to Mandurah Toyota for their support in providing prizes and tree guards.
