PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

We are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated and innovative teacher to join the Austin Cove Baptist College Secondary School community. The position is Long Service Leave cover for Term 2, 2019.

We require a Physical Education specialist who is qualified to teach to Year 12 level.  The successful applicant will be dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative in their approach to delivering the Curriculum and have the ability to work collaboratively with the whole school community.

Austin Cove Baptist College of South Yunderup is a co-educational College that commenced in 2011 and currently has approximately 670 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. ·       Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities

·       Christian faith would be desirable

Essential

·       Appropriate teaching qualifications in Physical Education and registration with TRBWA

·       MR (or higher) heavy vehicle licence or able to obtain

·       F Endorsement bus/charter vehicle licence or able to obtain

·       TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or able to obtain - paid by College)

·       SIS20115 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (or able to obtain – paid by College)

DIPLOMA QUALIFIED EDUCATOR
 
Austin Cove Early Learning Centre is a not for profit Early Learning Centre located at Austin Cove Baptist College for ages 6months to 7 years. We require an experienced Diploma Qualified to lead our small Babies room. 

It is essential that you are a team player and have strong communication skills with a high level of integrity, understanding, and belief, in the long lasting benefit of quality early childhood education. You must be highly dedicated to the children and we as an employer are dedicated to working with educators to achieve their goals, both personal and professional. We are committed to high quality service delivery both to our educators as well as the families that depend on us. 

To be considered for these roles, applicants must have the following : 
    * Diploma in Children’s Services and/or an Early Childhood Degree from a University recognised by ACECQA 
    * Effective assessment and evaluation techniques 
    * Values a collaborative, team approach 
    * Is able to establish positive educator/parent relationships 
    * Is supportive of the Christian ethos within the College and a committed Christian 
    * Strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education standards of excellence.

    * Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, standards and regulations 
    * A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance

  • Cert 4 Special Needs
  • Current first aid (with manual handling if possible)
  • Computer literate
  • WWCC
  • as well as all our other standard criteria.
